Madeleine is a generalist specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides holistic care to women of all ages.
Madeleine grew up in Penola South Australia and moved to Melbourne in 2007 to study Medicine & Surgery at Monash University, before undertaking her specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne and University Hospital Geelong, before moving to Adelaide in 2021, where she completed her training at Flinders Medical Centre, The Women’s and Children’s Hospital and undertook two years of Advanced Gynaecological training at The Queen Elizabeth and Royal Adelaide Hospitals.
She provides comprehensive low and high-risk obstetric care, from preconception and family planning, through pregnancy, delivery and post-partum care. She is a kind and compassionate practitioner who ensures her patients, and their families feel comfortable, informed and empowered in their pregnancy journey.
Madeleine is trained in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, open and vaginal surgery. She manages a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids, polyps, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis, vulval skin conditions, abnormal cervical screening requiring colposcopy, and concerns relating to menopause and perimenopause. She also provides care for sexual health and vulval dermatology.
Madeleine has a passion for Indigenous Women’s Health and has worked in West Arnhem land and was recently a finalist for the Lowicha O’Donoghue Indigenous Health Award, and the recipient of a 2024 SA Premier’s Excellence Award for this work. She is passionate about equitable access to health care and public health across Australia and The Pacific, and has undertaken an Internship within the department of HIV & STI’s with the World Health Organisation in Manilla, Philippines, and has been providing outreach education and training in Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy in Western Fiji.
Madeleine and her husband Shaun have three young children Patrick, Leo and Clementine and a cheeky Beaglier Rupert. They love traveling and are excited to return to Geelong after a recent family trip around Australia.
