Madeleine is a generalist specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, holistic care for women at every stage of life. Originally from Penola, South Australia, she graduated from Monash University in 2012 and completed specialist training at The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, University Hospital Geelong and in Adelaide. There she gained experience in high-risk obstetrics at Flinders Medical Centre and The Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and later undertook two years of advanced gynaecological training at The Queen Elizabeth and Royal Adelaide Hospitals.

She provides comprehensive care in both low and high-risk obstetrics, from preconception and family planning through pregnancy, birth and postnatal care, ensuring women and their families feel supported and empowered throughout their pregnancy journey. She is trained in laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, open and vaginal surgery, and manages a wide range of gynaecological conditions including heavy menstrual bleeding, fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, vulval conditions, abnormal cervical screening, and concerns relating to menopause and perimenopause. She also provides care in sexual health and vulval dermatology.

Madeleine is passionate about Indigenous and rural women’s health equity, having worked in West Arnhem Land, received a SA Premier’s Excellence Award, and been a finalist for the 2024 Lowitja O’Donoghue Indigenous Health Award. Internationally, she has contributed through an internship with the World Health Organisation in the Philippines and most recently by providing laparoscopic surgical training in Fiji.

Outside of medicine, Madeleine enjoys travelling with her husband Shaun, their three young children, and their Beaglier, Rupert, and is delighted to be returning to Geelong after exploring Australia together.
