At our childbirth education classes, we pride ourselves on offering a truly unique experience.

What sets us apart is the presence of experienced Obstetricians who play an active role in guiding and educating expectant parents.

Our Midwife and Obstetrician-led sessions provide a rare opportunity for you to gain insights and knowledge directly from medical professionals who specialise in the field of childbirth. This personalised approach ensures that you receive the most up-to-date and reliable information, empowering you to make informed decisions about your pregnancy, labour, and delivery.

The content of our childbirth education classes is evidence-based, modern and interactive.

These sessions are geared towards parents expecting their first baby, however anyone wanting to gain further knowledge and tools will benefit greatly.

Birth partners are encouraged to be present for these classes. In saying that, if you would prefer to go solo, then that’s fine too.

We recommend you participate in the course anywhere between 28-36 weeks’ gestation.

    Creating your positive birthing space

    Discussion surrounding hospital interventions and procedures - induction, assisted birth and caesarean

    Your baby, feeding and the early days of parenting

Class Details

Duration:     6 hours over 2 evenings

(6:15pm - 9:15pm)

Fees:             $350 incl GST

($100 off for Berth Patients)

Private health rebates are available with

selected health funds (under extras).

In the case of a cancellation within 14 days of the course,

$150 of the course tuition is non-refundable.

Unit 1 – The Birthing Process

Unit 2 – Tools for labour and working with the intensity.

                   CLASS 2:

Unit 3 – Pharmacological pain relief and interventions

Unit 4 – Your baby, feeding and parenting
